Biography: I graduated from Harding University in 1969 with a BA in Psychology/Sociology, two graduate degrees from the University of Vermont and many additional credit hours in Technology Education from multiple colleges and universities. I currently hold endorsements in Design and Technology Education, Social Studies and in Library Media. After time serving in the military and teaching 5 years at C.V.U. I arrived at Mt. Abe as an Industrial Arts teacher in 1977. I have taught all the industrial arts areas, woodworking, metal working, drafting, graphics, power mechanics, electricity and electronics. I served many years as the Mathematics, Home Economics and Industrial Arts Department chairman. I currently teach Technology Education at the middle school level and I love my job!
My passions are antique vehicles and historic preservation. I currently spend my summers preserving and restoring architecturally significant buildings.
I have two adult daughters that live in the area one of which has chosen to pursue a career in secondary education. |
