Paul Stetson

I began working at Mt. Abraham in August 1981 in what was then called the Industrial Arts Department teaching traditional Drafting and Architectural Drawing. The number one song for that month was “Jessie’s Girl” by Rick Springfield.  The department is now called Design and Technology Education.  Along with some traditional methods, we now teach using CAD programs for our design work in the Drafting and Industrial Technology courses running a 3D router, 3D printer and mill/drill/lathe.

I have a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Vermont plus over 60 credits from workshops and additional courses.

My wife Joanne and I have three grown children, two daughter-in-laws, and a granddaughter.  We love spending time with all of our extended family.  Joanne and I have been involved with the Mt Abraham Fall Musical since 1998.  I work with the set design and construction and she heads up the costume committee.

I love to ski, hike, work on projects around our home, attend UVM hockey games, and spend time in the woods sugaring.
