Biography:
My passions are my family, friends, teaching, learning, and the outdoors. I have taught in 2 countries, most subjects, kindergarten to college, and in a variety of cultures. I came to Mount Abraham because I wanted to raise my children in Vermont. Fourteen years later I still love Vermont!
I believe parenting and teaching are one of society's most important jobs. Educational experiences are most effective when parents and teachers work together to provide learning opportunities for all students.
I believe mastery of mathematics for all learners is an essential priority for schools. I am excited to be a member of the Mount Abraham Math Community because we have developed incredible math support structures so all students have the opportunity to excel and progress to higher levels of math.
I attended McGill University where I received a Bachelor Degree in Education and a Masters Degree.
Throughout my career I have continued to take courses and participate in professional development opportunities.
I will continue to advocate for all learners and work together with students, parents, and colleagues to provide exceptional math opportunites!
