Biography: I grew up in the PNW (Pacific Northwest), specifically Tacoma, WA. I attended Western Washington University in Bellingham and graduated with a BA in environmental studies. I then worked for Outward Bound in Alaska as a mountaineering instructor from 2006-2008. Since then my wife and I have lived in Lincoln, VT, where we just recently completed construction of our home. I have a son, Eammon who is 3 1/2 and a baby on the way. I've just entered the second year of a doctoral program at UVM in education policy, with graduation sometime in 2016. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, climbing, skiing, and fly fishing. |
